Note: The above chart compares the three major access methods for scaffolding a building. The examples cover a small 40' wide portion of wall surface and by taking the lineal footage and dividing it by 40 then multiplying it by the height, it is plainly seen how sockets and davits used with swing stages are by far the most economical means of access. Even if steel frame scaffold or mast climbers are required for certain applications, removing these scaffolds and replacing with multiple swing staging for those applications not requiring heavy loading will substantially reduce cost and will provide your building with an access system for its life.
